The route connects Goričko with Lendava and crosses briefly into Hungary for a few kilometres. From the Pri Momi homestead, it winds through the villages and flat countryside of Prekmurje to the vineyards around Lendava, then continues through the peaceful border landscape of Hetés and past Lake Bukovnica before returning to Goričko.

Pri Momi
The tour starts at the Pri Momi homestead, situated on an idyllic hill in Goričko, surrounded by forests, meadows and vineyards. Its peaceful setting makes it an excellent starting point for a longer cycling tour, as after just a few kilometres you leave the main roads behind and enter the characteristic rural landscape of Prekmurje.

Through the villages of Goričko towards Bogojina
The route winds through the pleasant and varied landscape of Goričko, passing meadows, fields, forests and small villages. In Bogojina, a highlight is Plečnik’s Church of the Ascension, built between 1924 and 1927.
Towards Lendava
The route passes through Dobrovnik, Žitkovci, Kamovci and Mostje, where the landscape gradually flattens out. A quiet road then leads towards Lendava and the Slovenian-Hungarian border.

Lendava Hills and Vinarium
From Lendava, the route climbs through the vineyards of the Lendava Hills. The main highlight is the 53.5-metre-high Vinarium Tower, offering panoramic views across Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia and Austria.
A short crossing into Hungary
For a few kilometres, the route crosses into Hungary and enters the peaceful landscape of Hetés. Small villages and quiet roads through the flat countryside are complemented by the Hetés Barátság Park, or Friendship Park, a symbol of cross-border ties and cooperation.
Lake Bukovnica

Lake Bukovnica
The final part of the route gradually returns towards Goričko. After longer flat sections, the ride reaches Lake Bukovnica, a popular excursion spot surrounded by nature. The lake was originally created as a water reservoir, but today it is a well-known gathering place for walkers, cyclists and visitors.
Return towards Pri Momi
The final kilometres bring us back to the Pri Momi homestead, where we finish a varied tour combining the natural beauty, vineyards, history and distinctive borderland character of Prekmurje.
